Organic Argan Oil is an oil obtained from the fruits of the argan tree grown in Morocco. Means “arjan” (locked in) in the Moroccan-Berber dialect. The Argan tree is an endemic species in the world that is only naturally found in southwest Morocco, in very small quantities in the Tindouf region of Algeria. It is an evergreen and thorny tree that can grow to 10-12 meters in height, has a lifespan of 150-200 years, is compatible with extreme drought and semi-desert climate, can go down to 30 meters below the ground with its roots. Argan oil is obtained by pressing the almond-like hard kernels.
